• Gentle Exfoliation: The plant-based powders (kalonji, jojoba, rosehip, shikakai) offer effective yet gentle exfoliation, removing dead skin cells without damaging the skin's protective barrier. This promotes smoother, softer, and more radiant skin.
• Nourishing and Hydrating: The cold-pressed oils and butter provide deep hydration and nourishment, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.
• Brightening and Even Skin Tone: Being rich in antioxidants and vitamins, our handmade face scrub can help brighten the skin, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and promote an even skin tone.
• Soothing and Calming: Calendula and lavender powder in our organic face scrub have anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritated skin and reduce redness.
• Balancing Oil Production: The formulation helps to balance oil production, making it suitable for various skin types, including oily skin.
• Natural and Safe: The natural body scrub is free from harsh chemicals, microbeads, and other potentially harmful additives, making it a safe and healthy choice for your skin.
• Environmentally Friendly: The scrub is free of microbeads, which are a major source of plastic pollution in waterways. The natural ingredients are also biodegradable, reducing environmental impact.

Our commitment to clean skincare starts with transparency. That's why we're sharing details about some of the plant-derived ingredients in our scrub, each chosen for its unique benefits and gentle exfoliating properties.

• Lactic Acid: Lactic acid is naturally produced by fermentation, often using sources like corn or beets. In our scrub, it is used in very low concentrations and acts as a gentle exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells and reveal a brighter complexion. It can also help improve skin texture and hydration.

• Cetyl Alcohol & Stearic Acid: These are fatty alcohols that are derived from coconut oil through a process called hydrogenation. In our scrub, they primarily act as thickeners, emulsifiers, and emollients (softening and smoothing the skin). They are used in very small percentages in our herbal face scrub and can be beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. As they are derived from a plant-based source, they are renewable and sourced sustainably, they have a lower environmental impact as compared to synthetic alternatives.

• Olivem 1000: It is used in our scrub, is an eco-certified, plant-derived emulsifier sourced from olive oil. It creates a stable emulsion, seamlessly blending our oil and water-based ingredients. Not only is Olivem 1000 gentle and safe for your skin, but it's also a more sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to synthetic emulsifiers.

• Gentle Preservatives: A blend of mild preservatives, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate helps keep our natural face scrub fresh and effective while being kind to your skin and the environment.

• Candelilla Wax: Derived from the leaves of the candelilla shrub, this natural wax acts as a thickener, emulsifier, and emollient in our exfoliating natural face scrub. It's a sustainable and vegan alternative to beeswax, known for its skin-protective and softening properties.

Wondering What makes our face scrub exfoliate without microbeads?

We believe in harnessing the power of nature for healthy, radiant skin. That's why our scrub is formulated with a blend of gentle, plant-based exfoliants:

• Jojoba Powder: This finely ground powder, derived from the jojoba plant, provides gentle yet effective exfoliation. Its unique texture helps to buff away dead skin cells and impurities, revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion.

• Shikakai Powder: A natural cleanser and exfoliant used in Ayurveda for centuries, shikakai powder helps remove dirt and excess oil while promoting a healthy scalp and skin.

• Rosehip Powder: This finely ground powder provides gentle physical exfoliation while delivering essential vitamins and antioxidants to nourish and protect the skin.

• Kalonji Powder: These seeds offer gentle exfoliation while their anti-inflammatory properties help to soothe and clarify the skin.

Our unique blend of plant-based exfoliants provides a safe and effective alternative to harsh microbeads, ensuring a gentle yet thorough exfoliation.

Why Choose Satopradhan Face Scrub?
