Agni Tundi Vati is a classical Ayurvedic **Deepana–Pachana** (appetite & digestion-enhancing) formulation described in the *Ayurvedic Formulary of India (AFI)*. It helps kindle the digestive fire (*Agni*), improve appetite, relieve indigestion, and balance Vata–Kapha doshas.
**Ingredients (as per AFI):**
• **Vatsanabha (Shodhit)** – Purified Aconitum ferox – digestive stimulant
• **Ajamoda** – Ajwain – carminative, reduces gas
• **Saindhava Lavana** – Rock salt – aids digestion
• **Pippali** – Long pepper – improves appetite, bioavailability
• **Maricha** – Black pepper – deepana, carminative
• **Shunthi** – Dry ginger – relieves colic, supports digestion
• **Hingu** – Asafoetida – reduces flatulence
• **Jeeraka** – Cumin – antispasmodic, digestive
• **Lavana Varga** – Rock salt varieties – enhance taste, digestion
• **Nimbu Swarasa (Bhavana)** – Lemon juice – trituration medium for potency
